- "Don't bullshit me, just help! What do I do?"
Wounded Criminal is a Call Incident in 112 Operator. With a Call Level of 0, it is allowed to trigger on any Duty that allows random Call Incidents, including the very first Duty. This call only spawns a single incident site, which requires urgent medical response. The call dialogue is completely predictable (no randomized responses from the caller).
The incident involves a criminal calling 112 to request instructions on how to treat a knife wound. He initially insists on limiting the help to over-the-phone instructions, and must be carefully convinced to give his address so that an ambulance can be sent to help him. He is slowly bleeding to death, and requires treatment and transportation to hospital.

Opening Lines[]
| Speaker | Line | |
|---|---|---|
| Operator | 112, what's your emergency? | |
| Caller | Hello, I... uh, I need... I need medical advice. | |
Trigger Conditions[]
The Wounded Criminal incident has a Call Level of 0. This means that the call may randomly happen on any Duty - including the very first one - if the game decides to trigger a random Call Incident on that Duty.
Once this call is triggered, it will not be triggered again for the remainder of the game - except in Freeplay mode if "Repeated Calls" have been enabled.
Structure[]
The Wounded Criminal incident is a Call Incident, which begins with a phone conversation with a citizen. The call is completely predictable: it contains no randomized responses from the caller, and the outcome depends entirely on choices made by the operator; the same choices will always lead to the same results.
This incident contains only a single scene, which becomes visible on the map only if the caller is convinced to reveal his address - which requires asking a very specific set of questions. If the location hasn't been acquired during the conversation, the call can be traced instead, which takes approximately 450 real-time seconds (on SLOW game speed).
One dialog choice can make the man's condition deteriorate faster; but the entire incident will time out before the man dies, anyway.
Call Summary[]
The Wounded Criminal incident begins with a man calling 112, claiming to have accidentally stabbed himself in the thigh with a knife. When asked for his location, the man refuses to give it, instead demanding that the operator provide him with medical advice over the phone. It is clear that the wound was not self-inflicted, and the man is trying to protect himself from police.
The operator tries to give the man some basic help, but then pressures him into divulging his address so that an ambulance can come help him. The caller eventually relents, and medics arrive to take him to a hospital.
Negative Choices[]
The operator can advise the man to pull the knife out of his thigh. The man is doubtful about this, but is told that this is the appropriate way. Pulling the knife out makes him bleed much faster.
The caller can also be instructed to pour an alcoholic beverage on his wound, or tie the leg with a belt. These options do not exacerbate the situation nor cause a drop in your score. However, telling them man to sew up his own wound does eliminate any possible reward from this incident.

Wounded Criminal Scene[]
The Wounded Criminal incident contains only a single scene, which is hidden at first. This scene only appears on the map once either of the following conditions is met:
- The caller is convinced to reveal his location.
- About 450 seconds of real-time have elapsed (on SLOW game speed) from the moment the conversation began.
The scene contains a single medical element.
Description[]
This scene takes place in the caller's house, or whatever building he is holed up in. He is the only element on the scene.
When the scene first spawns on the map, the caller has 100 Hit Points, but is considered injured and must be treated and taken to hospital. However, with every real-time second that passes (on SLOW game speed), his condition worsens by -0.05 Hit Points. This gives you 2,000 seconds to reach and treat him - longer than it would take the scene to time out, and nearly equivalent to the length of an entire Duty.
If the caller is told to TRUST ME, DO IT (pull the knife out of his thigh), his bleeding rate doubles to -0.1 per second. This reduces the time window to under 1,000 seconds - though this is still a very long time.
Resolution[]
The scene must be reached within 1,000 seconds of real time (on SLOW game speed) or it will automatically fail. This is a rather long time limit - just under half a Duty. Note that while the man on the scene is bleeding to death, it will take him almost this long to die - if not longer.
The default reputation reward for resolving this scene is +3. This is decreased to 0 if the caller is told YES, EXACTLY - advising him to sew up his wound.
The penalty for ignoring this scene is always -3, subject to multipliers from the current difficulty setting.
If the caller happens to die on the scene before he can be treated, both the reward and penalty are adjusted by -5 points each.
