- "You can't possibly imagine what it's like to lose this kind of wealth."
Unidentified Body is a Call Incident in 112 Operator. With a Call Level of 0, it is allowed to trigger on any Duty that allows random Call Incidents, including the very first Duty. This call only spawns a single incident site that requires only basic medical response. The call dialogue is completely predictable (no randomized responses from the caller).
The incident involves a man calling to report finding a dead body, only for the operator to discover that the man is referring to himself - he's about to commit suicide. The operator must talk the man into getting help. Medics must then reach the site and take the man to hospital.
For the best solution to this call, see this guide.
Opening Lines[]
| Speaker | Line | |
|---|---|---|
| Operator | 112, what's your emergency? | |
| Caller | Hello. . . I would like to. . . report something. | |
Trigger Conditions[]
The Unidentified Body incident has a Call Level of 0. This means that the call may randomly happen on any Duty - including the very first one - if the game decides to trigger a random Call Incident on that Duty.
Once this call is triggered, it will not be triggered again for the remainder of the game - except in Freeplay mode if "Repeated Calls" have been enabled.
Structure[]
The Unidentified Body incident is a Call Incident, which begins with a phone conversation with a citizen. The call is completely predictable: it contains no randomized responses from the caller, and the outcome depends entirely on choices made by the operator; the same choices will always lead to the same results.
This incident contains only a single scene, which becomes visible on the map if the caller is asked for their address. If the address hasn't been acquired during the conversation, the call can be traced instead, which takes approximately 450 real-time seconds (on SLOW game speed).
The scene may contain either a medical element or a dead body, depending on the course of the conversation. Saving the man's life is difficult, as it is not always clear how he will react to anything you say (unless you've read the script).
Call Summary[]
The Unidentified Body incident begins with a man calling 112 to report seeing a dead body at a warehouse district. He talks about the dead man as though he is some sort of human trash.
The operator at first tries to get the caller to check if the dead man is really dead - perhaps his life can be saved. However, as the conversation continues, it becomes apparent that the caller has actually called to report his own dead body, as he intends to commit suicide due to having lost all his money on a failed business.
The operator reassures the man that just because he's lost his money doesn't mean his life is over; he can still start anew. Eventually, the man breaks down and says that he needs help. The operator sends a medical unit to take the caller to a hospital.
Negative Choices[]
This call is a minefield of bad choices, most of them leading both to loss of Reputation points and the death of the caller. For example, telling the caller that you're sending an ambulance is a sure-fire way to get him to kill himself immediately. Belittling the caller or his misfortune in any way also leads to the same result.

Unidentified Body Scene[]
The Unidentified Body incident contains only a single scene, which is hidden at first. This scene only appears on the map once either of the following conditions is met:
- The caller was asked for his location.
- About 450 seconds of real-time have elapsed (on SLOW game speed) from the moment the conversation began.
This scene always spawns on a building. Note that many maps have buildings inside parks or other wilderness areas with no easy road access.
The scene contains one medical element by default, but if the caller kills himself during the conversation, there will be a dead body there instead.
Description[]
This scene takes place at a building. The caller ("a guy in his 30s") is inside. Depending on the outcome of the phone conversation, he may either be a medical element or a dead body.
If the caller is still alive, he is physically healthy but must still be checked by medics, and then taken to a hospital.
If the caller is dead, then his body must be processed either by medics or police officers, which is a trivial task.
Resolution[]
This scene must be reached within 1,500 seconds of real time (on SLOW game speed) or it will automatically fail the entire incident.
The default reputation reward for resolving this scene is +5.
The default penalty for ignoring this scene is -3, subject to multipliers from the current difficulty setting.
Both the reward and penalty are adjusted negatively when selecting the following choices:
- DON'T JOKE LIKE THAT: -5 points.
- SUICIDE IS FOOLISH: -7 points.
Additionally, the reward (but not the penalty) is adjusted negatively when selecting the following choices:
- CALM DOWN: -3 points.
- DON'T JOKE LIKE THAT: Set to 0 points.
- YOU'LL FIND OUT: Set to 0 points.
- I'M SENDING AN AMBULANCE: Set to 0 points.
The latter three can actually save you from losing Reputation points if you've made a bad mistake previously in the conversation, since they outright set the reward to 0 no matter how low it went. previously. Of course, you would need to send units to resolve the scene, since this does not affect the Ignore Penalty.
Note that the death of the caller, if it happens, does not in itself decrease your score beyond what's listed above.
