Plot[]
This call has only a single storyline with two possible endings, selected directly by the operator.
Summary[]
A man calls 911 from his car. He says that the protests have caused a traffic jam that is delaying him on the way to the airport. He is worried that he might miss his flight, and demands that police impose some law and order.
The operator explains to the man that the people have a right to protest, so long as they do so peacefully. The man expresses his irritation. The call is summarily ignored.
On Site[]
- On arrival, units will find the caller still stuck in traffic, and may encounter 6 protesters blocking the road.
- The caller is Resolved by default, and requires no interaction.
- The protesters will only be present if the operator promised the caller to send police to clear them out. It is possible to send units to the scene after telling the caller that there's no reason to send police - in which case the incident will be resolved as soon as a unit reaches the site, resulting in an instant -2 Reputation penalty.
- If the protesters are present, they must be questioned by police. However, each protester has a 20% chance of starting a fight with the police, which other protesters may join. With 6 protesters in total, the chance of at least one of them starting a fight is extremely high. A fight could end with injured protesters/officers, who would need treatment by medics and transport to hospital. Any protester who joins the fight and is not injured will need to be arrested and taken to jail instead. You'll receive a penalty of -10 Reputation for clearing all the protesters out.
Optimal Conversation[]
The optimal way to handle this call is to IGNORE it as soon as the Reputation reward is set.
Speaker | Dialogue | Extra Effects |
---|---|---|
Operator | 911, what's your emergency? | |
Caller | Can you impose some order around here? I'm gonna miss my flight because of these damn protests! | Reputation -2. |
Click IGNORE as soon as your dialogue options appear for an instant +2 Reputation. |
Choices to Avoid[]
In practice, any dialogue choice is a waste of time. However, promising the caller I'LL SEND THE POLICE TO INTERVENE
lowers the Reputation reward from -2 to -10. You should not sent units to the incident site either way, of course.

The following link appears inside the call script file:

This is a YouTube video of a man speaking with a southern accent. The file recommends voice actors to use this as a guideline for how the caller should speak, describing him as a "typical fatty Republican".
