911/112 Operator Wiki

"I'm damn well sure he's dead! He's lying in a puddle of blood with a wooden stick in his chest!"

The Murder is a Call Incident in 112 Operator. This call will not trigger on its own; it will only be triggered by the Serial Killer event. This call includes only one scene, which requires only basic police response. The call dialogue is completely predictable (no randomized responses from the caller).

The incident involves a person who reports finding a dead body in a car park, with an arrow sticking out of its chest. Police are sent to collect the body and question the witness.

For the best solution to this call, see this guide.

Opening Lines[]

Speaker Line
Operator 112, what's your emergency?
Caller Hello... Uhm. I have... I have found... I have found a body ... a dead body.

Trigger Conditions[]

The Missing Treasure incident is a scripted incident; it cannot spawn unless specifically triggered by an Event.

This is the first incident to occur during the Serial Killer event.

In Campaign mode, the Serial Killer event begins on the very first Duty of the game, but nothing actually happens as part of that event until Duty #3, when The Murder incident occurs.

In Freeplay games, the Serial Killer event may or may not happen at all, depending on the difficulty setting and random chance. At "Junior" difficulty, it can happen between Duties #4 and #11; while at "Middle" difficulty, it can happen between Duties #1 and #8. It cannot happen at all at higher difficulty settings. In this mode, The Murder incident always happens on the very first duty of the event.

There are no Scenarios that include this incident.

Structure[]

The Murder incident is a Call Incident, which begins with a phone conversation with a citizen. The call is completely predictable: it contains no randomized responses from the caller, and the outcome depends entirely on choices made by the operator; the same choices will always lead to the same results.

This incident includes only a single scene, whose location is only revealed if the caller is asked for it. If the conversation ends without discovering the location, it will be traced within 450 real-time seconds (on SLOW game speed) from the moment the conversation started.

There is only one real "choice" to make during the conversation: whether to ask the caller to perform CPR on the dead body. If he is told to do so, the reward is reduced slightly.

Call Summary[]

A man calls 112, saying he has found a dead body between the cars in a parking lot. He describes the body as a male, lying perfectly still in a puddle of blood, with an arrow sticking out of his chest.

The operator sends police to question the witness and remove the body.

Negative Choices[]

The operator can ask the caller to perform CPR on the victim, just in case he's still alive. However, since the victim is quite obviously very dead, this results in a small reduction to your score.

The Murder Scene[]

The Murder incident contains only a single scene, which is hidden at first. This scene only appears on the map once either of the following conditions is met:

  1. The caller was asked for his location.
  2. About 450 seconds of real-time have elapsed (on SLOW game speed) from the moment the conversation began.

The scene contains one police element and a dead body, which can be resolved either by police or by medics.

Description[]

This scene takes place at a parking lot. The caller is still here, waiting for the police. The dead body is lying between the cars.

The caller is a witness, and must be questioned by police.

The dead body can be removed either by police or by medics - a trivial job, either way.

Resolution[]

This scene must be reached within 400 seconds of real time (on SLOW game speed) from the moment is spawns on the map, or it will fail automatically. This is a relatively short window of opportunity; enough to make the incident "urgent".

The reputation reward for resolving this scene is +5.

The penalty for ignoring this scene is -5, subject to multipliers from the current difficulty setting.

Both the Reward and Penalty are adjusted negatively by -1 if the caller is told to DO THE CPR, SENDING HELP.
