- For the version of this incident where the suspect is innocent, see Terrorist Look-alike (False).
Terrorist Look-alike (True version) is a Reported Incident in 112 Operator. It is one of two incidents bearing the same name and description, but with completely different outcomes. This incident can be easily distinguished from the other version by its symbol on the map.
This version of the incident is very rare, requires police response, and has only one incident site. It can only begin to spawn once level-2 incidents have been unlocked (in Campaign mode, this happens on Duty #4).
The incident involves a report of a man who matches the description of a known terrorist. When police arrive to investigate, the man pulls out an assault rifle and begins to fire at the officers. He is extremely unlikely to surrender, so the fight will usually result in at least the terrorist getting injured. At that point, medical units should be called in (or better yet, already present) to treat the wounded and evacuate them to a hospital.
Conditions to Spawn[]
This version of the Terrorist Look-alike incident can only appear once level-2 incidents have been unlocked. In Campaign mode, this happens on duty #4. This incident is extremely rare.
This incident has an equal chance to spawn in any type of district, but it must always spawn on a building. Note that some maps have buildings inside Parks or other wilderness areas.
The occurrence rate of this incident is not affected by nighttime nor weather.
With The Last Duty DLC, this incident may not occur once the Infected have appeared.
Resolution[]
This version of the Terrorist Look-alike incident must be reached within 800 seconds of real time (on SLOW game speed) or it will automatically fail. This is more than enough time to gather up a sizable response - or better yet an armored SWAT team that can tackle an aggressive man with a rifle.
The reputation reward for resolving this incident is +2.
The penalty for ignoring this incident is -2, which is then subject to multipliers from the current difficulty setting.
Scene Elements[]
This incident contains one scene with only a single police element.
Description[]
The scene takes place at a house. The reported terrorist is inside.
In this version of the incident, the reported terrorist is in fact the wanted terrorist that police have been looking for. As soon as police officers arrive on the scene, the terrorist will always begin to fight, and is practically guaranteed to continue fighting until he is neutralized by the police in one way or another.
If the officers managed to force the man to surrender, he must then be arrested and taken to prison. Otherwise, he will be injured, requiring treatment from medics and transportation to hospital.
It is important to realize that the fight will always happen and that someone is very likely to be injured. Keep a medical unit either on location when the cops arrive, or ready to respond quickly.
