The Technical Truck is a land-based fire-fighting vehicle in 112 Operator that specializes in resolving technical incidents, which it does faster than any other vehicle in the game. Though it does carry 4 firemen, the Technical Truck has a very low Water Capacity and provides no bonuses to fire-fighting, making it a relatively poor vehicle for handling any significant fire-based incidents.
Description[]
"Equipped with professional equipment that can be useful in technical job."
Overview[]
The Technical Truck is the primary land-based vehicle for handling technical jobs. It is usually unlocked at the start of a career, scenario, or freeplay. It carries up to 4 firemen and provides each of them with a +0.50 bonus to Technical Work, resolving technical incidents very rapidly once it reaches the incident site.
On the other hand, the Technical Truck is rather poorly equipped for fighting fires. It has a Water Capacity of only 2.0, which is 1/5th the Water Capacity of a Fire Truck, and will quickly run out of water when fighting fires outside of urbanized areas. It can still resolve small fires on its own, but will need assistance from heavier fire vehicles when putting out large fires. Note, however, that a Technical Truck is 25% cheaper than a Fire Truck; and that technical incidents are generally more common than fire incidents.
The fact that both the Fire Truck and Brush Truck can handle technical work themselves (though somewhat slower) -- while also having additional benefits of their own -- makes the Technical Truck less useful to keep around; but it will certainly save a lot of time when resolving very complex technical incidents such as chemical spills.
The Technical Truck has identical driving properties to the standard Fire Truck.
