This article describes the best solution(s) to the Storm Call Incident. Follow the instructions below to learn how to get the most Reputation Points and/or other benefits, and avoid unnecessary penalties or complications.
The Storm incident is completely linear; it will work the exact same way each time you play it. As a result, the instructions given in this article will always be best.
Choice of Reward[]
This incident gives you two options to choose from, based on what you want to accomplish:
- Ignore the call to receive 3 Reputation points.
- Send firefighter and police units to the site to receive exactly 7 Reputation points.
Below are instructions on how to do either of these things as efficiently as possible.
Optimal Conversation - Incident Ignored[]
If you do not wish to spent any time or resources on this incident, you may ignore it as soon as you recognize it. This awards you with +3 points.
You may ignore the incident at any point for that same reward, no matter what you've said to the caller or what has happened since.
Optimal Conversation - Emergency Response[]
Following this conversation flow will end the conversation quickly with the caller's address and a nice Reputation Reward bonus. Send one firefighter unit (preferably technicians) and one police unit to the scene to receive +7 Reputation points after a bit of work.
This option is best if you want the extra Reputation points and have units available that aren't needed for anything else. If at any point you desperately need those units elsewhere, you can always ignore the incident to instantly receive +3 points instead.
