Stabbing is a Reported Incident in 112 Operator. This rare incident requires only medical response, and has only one incident site. It can start occurring on the very first duty of any game.
The incident involves a man who has been stabbed by someone else. The attacker has run away and is nowhere to be found. Medical units must rush to the site and administer treatment before the man dies of his injuries, then transport him to hospital.
Conditions to Spawn[]
The Stabbing incident can spawn on any Duty in any game mode. It is a rare incident.
This incident is twice as likely to spawn in a Slums district, and a bit less in a Residential district. It has a reduced chance of spawning in a Business district. At night its frequency increases a little, but it is still uncommon.
A poorly-managed violent Demonstration has a small chance of generating this incident in its vicinity.
Resolution[]
The Stabbing incident must be reached within 800 seconds of real time (on SLOW game speed) or it will automatically fail. However, the patient is bleeding to death, and in the worst case scenario you have less than 250 seconds to reach them before they die. This is an extremely small time window, so it is important to get a unit - any unit - on the scene quickly to at least mitigate the bleeding. Failure to save the man's life is very costly.
The reputation reward for resolving this incident is +3, assuming the patient hasn't died first. Otherwise, you will be penalized -2 Reputation for resolving the incident.
The maximum possible penalty for ignoring this incident is -8, which happens if the patient dies before the incident is ignored. Otherwise, the penalty for ignoring this incident is only -3. Both cases are subject on multipliers from the current difficulty setting.
Scene Elements[]
This incident contains one scene with one medical element.
Description[]
The scene takes place in a factory. The stabbed victim is lying on the ground, bleeding.
The victim's health is set at a random number between 30 and 50 hit points when the scene appears on the map, but degrades at a random rate between -0.02 and -0.12 per every real time second that passes (on SLOW game mode). In the worst case scenario, this gives you only 250 seconds to reach the patient and rescue them before they die, which costs a huge number of Reputation points. The patient requires medical treatment as well as transportation to hospital.
Because of the hefty cost, it is best to assume the worst. If no medical units are nearby, even a police or firefighter unit should be sent to the site first, to begin basic treatment while an actual medic rushes to the site. For reference, 250 real-time seconds equal 75 seconds on the in-game clock.
