Spotted (112 Incident)/Guide

This article describes the best solution(s) to the Spotted Call Incident. Follow the instructions below to learn how to get the most Reputation Points and/or other benefits, and avoid unnecessary penalties or complications.

The Spotted incident is completely linear; it will work the exact same way each time you play it. As a result, the instructions given in this article will always be best.

Choice of Reward

This incident has two different "optimal" endings, depending on which game mode you are playing:

1. Freeplay Mode: Complete the call normally, in an attempt to capture the killer and receive +2 Career Points for successful completion of the Crossbow Killer objective.
2. Campaign Mode: Since there it no reward for capturing the killer, it's better to avoid a fight with a dangerous criminal. Get the caller to lose the killer in a crowd.

Below are instructions on how to do either of these things as efficiently as possible.

Optimal Conversation - Freeplay Mode

Following this conversation flow will allow you to capture the Crossbow Killer with the maximum Reputation reward and the fewest clicks necessary.

	Caller	- Hello?. . . I think I saw the killer. You know, THE killer.

	Operator	- Miss, where are you?
	Caller	- I'm walking down the <address>. She's a fast walker. Hurry.	Street Scene discovered
THE POLICE ARE ON THEIR WAY
	Operator	- The police are on their way.
	Caller	- I know! I just wish it was already over...	Call ended.

Optimal Conversation - Campaign Mode

Following this conversation flow will cause the Crossbow Killer to escape, avoiding a dangerous fight. You will still receive the maximum Reputation reward for resolving this incident.

	Operator	- Run after her! Don't lose her!
	Caller	- Oh my god, she just blended in with the crowd! She disappeared!
SHE CAN'T BE TOO FAR
	Operator	- It's impossible, she can't be too far!
