Plot[]
This call has only a single plotline and a single ending.
Summary[]
Following a New York Mets baseball game in which the Mets lost to a visiting team, a New York Mets fan calls 911 to report that some other Mets fans have started a major brawl at a bar. Though the caller is excited, and is rooting for his friends, he believes they've "pushed it a bit too far", with multiple injuries and a burning coach belonging to the other team. He apologizes for "spoiling" the game's results to the operator.
After determining the severity of the incident, the operator sends multiple police, medical and firefighting units to the scene to take care of the chaos. Several people are arrested, some are taken to hospital, and the burning coach is put out by firefighters.
On Site[]
- On arrival at the scene, units will find a whole mess of elements, including the caller, a burning coach, two fans still fighting, three fans injured (one of them bleeding), as well as two fans who are not involved in the fight.
- The Caller must be interrogated by police.
- The two bystander fans are Resolved by default and require no interaction.
- The burning coach must be put out by firefighters, taking 30 seconds of Fire Work. However, the fire grows slowly as long as it isn't being actively put out by any firefighters, so it may take even more work than listed.
- Each of the two aggressive fans has 80% chance of requiring arrest and transport to jail. Any aggressive fan that requires arrest also has a 50% chance of starting a fight with the police, which the other (if he also requires arrest) may join. This could injure the fighting fan, resulting in them requiring medical attention and transport to hospital instead.
- Two of the injured fans are lightly injured, and require only treatment on site.
- The third injured fan is bleeding very slowly (no real threat to his life), but this means he requires both treatment and transportation to hospital.
- All in all, it is best to send one firefighting unit, at least one ambulance capable of carrying 2 people (preferably 3), and enough police officers to handle two combative but unarmed criminals.
Optimal Conversation[]
Choices to Avoid[]
Asking WHO IS WINNING?
will cut your Reputation reward down to only +2, instead of the normal +5.
Other than this, it's just a matter of ending the conversation quickly. The Optimal Conversation above shows the absolute fastest way to do so, while all other options simply waste time.
