Sexual Harassment is a Reported Incident in 112 Operator. This is a rare incident that can spawn from the very first duty onward. It requires only police response, but there is a fair chance of a fight breaking out, which could result in injuries (and thus require medical assistance). It has only one incident site.
The incident involves a report of a man who has inappropriately touched another person while traveling together on public transportation. Police must bring the vehicle to a halt, and then confront the offender. In most cases, the offender must be arrested, and may resist physically. In a few cases, they will only be issued a hefty fine. The victim must also be questioned by police - a trivial task.
Conditions to Spawn[]
The Sexual Harassment incident may start to spawn on the very first Duty in any game mode. Nevertheless, it is relatively rare.
This incident has double the chance to occur in Slum districts, and half the chance to occur in Industrial and Park districts, relative to all other district types.
With The Last Duty DLC, this incident may not occur at all once the Infected have appeared.
Resolution[]
The Sexual Harassment incident must be reached within 500 seconds of real time (on SLOW game speed) or it will automatically fail. This makes it an "urgent" incident, though this is still 2.5 hours of in-game time. Note that a chase is involved, which could take extra time.
The reputation reward for resolving this incident is +1.
The maximum penalty for ignoring this incident is -1, subject to multipliers from the current difficulty setting.
This incident cannot be stopped by a Speed Camera.
Scene Elements[]
This incident contains one scene with two police elements.
Chase[]
This scene begins to move as soon as it spawns. Its maximum speed is 45, representing the public transport plodding along the city streets. It will make no attempt to evade the police.
A speed of 45 makes it practically impossible for Police Bicycles to intercept this incident, and even Horses will struggle to catch up unless they have good drivers. Any faster units can catch up fairly easily. Since this incident is urgent, it's best to send a faster vehicle.
Description[]
The scene occurs out in the open, presumably after the public transit vehicle in question has been stopped and all the passengers alighted. Both the attacker and victim are still on the scene.
In more than 90% of cases, the attacker must be arrested and taken to prison. They have a randomized Aggression value, which (if high enough) can cause them to either surrender immediately or attack the police as soon as they arrive. If a fight does break out, the suspect could get injured, in which case medics will have to evacuate them to hospital together with the victim.
In much rarer cases (less than 10% chance), the attacker must be fined instead of arrested, for a total value between €1,000 and €1,500.
Additionally, the victim of the attack must be questioned by police. This takes 30-70 Work Seconds, which is a trivial job even with no experience or equipment.
