Roof Blown Off Building is a Reported Incident in 112 Operator. This incident may only occur during Windy weather, in which case it is uncommon event - but is more common during a full-blown Tornado event. It has only one scene which requires only firefighter response. This incident can spawn at any stage of the game, including the very first Duty.
The incident involves a roof that has been completely blown off a building by strong winds. Firefighters need to help clear the rubble away - a massive undertaking.
This is one of a handful of Reported Incidents in the game that can be summarily ignored without losing any points. Units should respond only if they literally have nothing better to do.
Conditions to Spawn[]
The Roof Blown Off Building incident can only spawn during Windy weather. It cannot spawn under any other circumstances. Even when this condition is met, the incident is relatively uncommon.
This incident has an equal chance to spawn in any type of district. Strangely, it doesn't need to spawn on a building, and may occur in parks or wilderness areas.
This incident will spawn at least once during a Tornado event. It can also occur near the tornado funnel as it crosses the city, though the chance is not high compared to all other incidents that may spawn.
Resolution[]
The Roof Blown Off Building incident must be reached within 800 seconds of real time (on SLOW game speed) or it will automatically fail. This is an above-average response time, so there is no big rush. Also note that letting this incident expire costs you no Reputation points.
The reputation reward for resolving this incident is +2.
The penalty for ignoring this incident is 0, making this one of the handful of incidents that can be ignored without wasting any time or effort.
Scene Elements[]
The Roof Blown Off Building incident contains one scene with only a single firefighter element.
Description[]
The scene occurs at a collapsed building, with rubble strewn all around. The collapsed roof itself is a tech element requiring anywhere between 1,400 and 3,300 Work Seconds to resolve. This is a very substantial amount of effort, especially for an incident with a low Reputation reward; and even more-so for an incident that can be ignored without penalty.
As such, if you need your units elsewhere, and the tech work is taking too long, consider ignoring this incident. Alternatively, you can remove the firefighter unit from the site, send it to where it's needed, and then bring it (or another unit) back to this site later to finish the job - there will be no penalty if the incident happens to time out in the meanwhile.
