Red Light Offence is a Reported Incident in 112 Operator. One of the most common incidents, it requires only police response. It has only one incident site, which requires a chase. This incident can spawn at any stage of the game, including the very first Duty.

The incident involves stopping a car that has run a red light, and giving the driver a fine. On rare occasions, the driver will have to be arrested instead. There is no chance of a fight breaking out.

This incident can be auto-resolved by a Speed Camera to receive money instead of Reputation.

Conditions to Spawn[]

The Red Light Offence incident can spawn at any stage of the game, from the very first Duty onward. This is true for all game modes.

This incident has a higher chance to spawn in Business districts and slums. It has a reduced chance of spawning in Industrial districts and parks.

Red Light Offence is much less common during snow, somewhat less common during rain conditions, and a bit less common in strong winds.

This incident may never occur during a Blackout event, since all traffic lights have shut down.

With The Last Duty DLC, this incident will never spawn after the Infected begin to attack.

Resolution[]

The Red Light Offence incident must be reached within 600 seconds of real time (on SLOW game speed) or it will automatically fail.

The highest reputation reward possible for resolving this incident is +1.

The maximum possible penalty for ignoring this incident is -1, depending on multipliers from the current difficulty setting.

This incident will be automatically resolved if it enters the effect radius of a Speed Camera. If so, you receive no Reputation reward, but instead receive €1,000 - €1,400 instantly.

112 IncidentIcon P Scene Elements[]

The Red Light Offence incident contains one chase scene with a single police element.

112 IncidentSubicon Chase Chase[]

This scene begins to move as soon as it spawns. Its maximum speed is 120, making it difficult to stop with Pickup Trucks or anything slower. Patrol Cars or faster vehicles are recommended.

The driver has a Police Avoidance value of only 0.1, meaning that he will usually ignore police presence in his vicinity. This makes him easier to trap with units coming from different directions, but more difficult to push towards a Speed Camera.

Description[]

The scene contains a car with one suspect inside, unarmed and compliant. In most cases, the suspect must be fined by an officer. In rare cases, they must be arrested, and will not resist.

You will only receive the fine if the suspect does not require arrest.
