Plot 1[]

(This call has only one possible plot-line.)

Summary[]

A man calls 911 after having witnessed a small, two-seater plane crashing into a house. Fortunately, the occupant of the house ran out and stated that she was alone in there. The condition of the plane's passengers is unknown, and the man is reluctant to go check on them due to the state of the struck house. Smoke is billowing from the house, though the caller cannot see flames.

The operator instructs the man not to enter the house if there's any danger whatsoever. Police, medical, and firefighting teams are sent to the crash site, where they treat the homeowner on-site while the caller is questioned by police.

Meanwhile, firefighters struggle to clear a way to the plane wreckage, where they discover an injured passenger and the dead body of another. Miraculously, both the homeowner and injured passenger require no hospitalization.

  • On arrival, units find the caller, the female homeowner, and the remains of the destroyed house. Two plane passengers are inside.
  • The caller must be questioned by the police. However if he was instructed to enter the house and try to help the victims, he is instead replaced by an alternative version that is lightly injured and requires on-site treatment, but is blocked by rubble from the collapsing house which must be cleared first.
  • The homeowner is also lightly injured and requires on-site treatment.
  • The rubble of the house must be cleared by firefighters in order to reach the two passengers inside (and the injured caller, if triggered). This is a substantial amount of Tech work, but there's no ticking clock; a single firefighting unit can handle it alone, if you have no other pressing matters.
  • Behind the rubble are two passengers. One is dead, and must be removed by the police. The other is lightly injured, and can be treated on site without transport to hospital.

Trivia[]

This call may have been inspired by the HBO television series "Breaking Bad", particularly by an episode where two planes collide above Albuquerque, where this call is scripted to occur. However, although one of the planes in that episode was a small passenger plane, there was no indication that it crashed into a house after the collision.
