Person Hit by Falling Branch is a Reported Incident in 112 Operator. Normally a rare incident, it requires only medical unit response, and has only one incident site. This incident can spawn at any stage of the game, including the very first Duty.

The incident involves a person who has been hit by a branch that fell off a tree and caused a serious injury. Medics must reach the site, administer treatment, and determine whether the victim requires transport to hospital.

Conditions to Spawn[]

The Person Hit by Falling Branch incident can spawn at any stage of the game, from the very first Duty onward. This is true for all game modes. This incident is normally rare.

This incident is twice as likely to occur in Park districts, and a reduced chance to occur in Business districts, compared to all other district types.

This incident will never occur during nighttime.

During Windy weather, this incident is seven times more common than otherwise.

This incident will always spawn at least once during a Tornado event. There is also a chance for it to spawn near the tornado funnel as it makes its way through the city, though the chance isn't particularly high.

The Earthquake event may also cause this incident to spawn, though quite rarely.

Resolution[]

The Person Hit by Falling Branch incident must be reached within 450 seconds of real time (on SLOW game speed) or it will automatically fail. This is a rather short response time, justifying the "Urgent" tag on this incident.

The reputation reward for resolving this incident is +2.

The penalty for ignoring this incident is -2, and is subject on multipliers from the current difficulty setting.

Description[]

The scene contains the fallen tree, with the injured person next to it. The tree is not an element to be resolved; only the injured person can be interacted with.

The victim is severely injured and will take a while to treat. After treatment, they have a 70% chance of requiring transport to hospital; a Paramedic Fly Car or Air Ambulance should be best for this incident.
