Parking Violation is a Reported Incident in 112 Operator. A relatively common incident, it requires only police response. It has only one incident site. This incident can spawn at any stage of the game, including the very first Duty.
The incident involves a parked car that's blocking traffic, creating a jam in the area. Although the incident's description calls for the car to be towed, all that's actually required is to fine the owner for a modest amount of money.
Conditions to Spawn[]
The Parking Violation incident can spawn at any stage of the game, from the very first Duty onward. This is true for all game modes.
This incident has a higher chance to spawn in Business districts and to a lesser extent in Residential districts. It spawns with reduced frequency in Industrial districts, and even more rarely in Parks. It is half as likely to occur during the night compared to daytime.
This incident can only spawn on a road.
With The Last Duty DLC, this incident will never spawn after the Infected begin to attack.
Resolution[]
The Parking Violation incident must be reached within 900 seconds of real time (on SLOW game speed) or it will automatically fail. This is nearly 4.5 hours on the game clock, which gives you plenty of time.
The highest reputation reward possible for resolving this incident is +1.
The maximum possible penalty for ignoring this incident is -1, depending on multipliers from the current difficulty setting.
Scene Elements[]
The Parking Violation incident contains one chase scene with a single police element.
Traffic Jam[]
As soon as this scene is created, it begins to generate a Traffic Jam that will expand at a rate of 0.03 along every connecting street.
The Traffic Jam will slow down all ground-based units attempting to travel through it. Smaller vehicles move faster through Traffic Jams, and airborne vehicles ignore them completely.
As soon as the scene is resolved, the Traffic Jam will begin to clear, from the center outwards.
Description[]
The scene contains a car, with its owner standing right next to it. The owner is unarmed and compliant, and always needs to be fined for a small sum of money.
