Non-Powered Cold Storage is a Reported Incident in 112 Operator. This incident may only occur during the Blackout event, becoming extremely common in the second half of that Duty. It requires only firefighter response, and has only one incident site.
The incident involves a commercial cold-storage unit (basically, an industrial fridge) that is beginning to heat up due to loss of power. A firefighter unit can be sent there to take a look, but there's not much they can actually do.
This is one of a handful of Reported Incidents in the game that can be summarily ignored without losing any points. Units should respond only if they literally have nothing better to do.
Conditions to Spawn[]
The Non-Powered Cold Storage incident can only spawn during the Blackout event. It may not spawn at any other time.
During the 1st half of the Blackout Duty, this incident is mildly uncommon compared to other incidents that the even might spawn. During the 2nd half of that Duty, this incident is one of the most common incidents.
This incident may only spawn in one of the (three?) districts affected by the particular Blackout that's taking place. The game does not indicate to the player which districts are affected.
Resolution[]
The Non-Powered Cold Storage incident must be reached within 1,500 seconds of real time (on SLOW game speed) or it will automatically fail. Not only is this a very long response time (more than half a Duty), but there is no penalty for allowing this incident to expire, either.
The reputation reward for resolving this incident is +1.
The penalty for ignoring this incident is 0, making this one of the handful of incidents that can be ignored without wasting any time or effort.
Scene Elements[]
The Non-Powered Cold Storage incident contains one scene with a single firefighter element.
Description[]
The scene takes place in the open. The only thing present is the unpowered cold storage unit. This is a tech element that takes only 50 Work Seconds to resolve - mere moments for a trained technical crew. The task is so simple it can even be carried out by non-firefighter units, though it would take them a little longer.

After Action Report[]
| Condition | Text |
|---|---|
| All scene elements resolved | The operator sent the services to an incident in which they could not help. It was a wrong decision. |
| Scene ignored | The operator did not send services to the incident in which they could not help. It was a good decision. |
Trivia[]
Though the After-Action report chides you for sending units unnecessarily, you still get +1 Reputation point for doing so, compared to 0 for ignoring the incident.
