No Power In The Area is a Reported Incident in 112 Operator. It is a Search incident, ultimately requiring only firefighter response. It can only spawn once incident level 2 has been unlocked (on Campaign mode this happens on Duty #4). It has one search site and one incident site.

The incident involves a loss of power in an entire neighborhood, requiring immediate response from technical crews to restore the grid. However, this first requires a search to determine where exactly the grid has failed. Once the faulty junction box is discovered, tech crews can fix it.

Conditions to Spawn[]

The No Power In The Area incident can only spawn once level 2 calls have been unlocked. In Campaign mode, this happens on Duty #4. It is a rather rare incident.

This incident is twice as likely to occur in Industrial Districts, and only half as likely to occur in Business districts and Parks.

Snowy weather and windy weather each more than double the frequency of this event.

This incident always spawns at least once during a Tornado event. It also has a very high chance of spawning randomly near the tornado funnel as it moves across the city.

This incident is also somewhat common during an Earthquake event.

Search[]

The No Power In The Area incident begins with a Search Area and Automatic Search Site appearing on the map.

The Search Area is a rectangle, 3 sectors wide on each side - for a total of 9 sectors. One of these sectors (selected at random) contains the hidden incident site you're searching for.

Each sector requires 60 seconds of Search Work to complete. This can be done by any unit. Once the specific sector containing the hidden incident site is completely searched, the hidden incident site appears and the search is over.

Resolution[]

The search must be concluded within 700 seconds of real time (on SLOW game speed) or it will automatically fail the entire incident.

The reputation reward for completing the search itself is +3.

The penalty for ignoring the incident before completing the search is -3, depending on multipliers from the current difficulty setting.

Once the search is completed, it reveals the Broken Power Line Scene.

Broken Power Line Scene[]

This scene appears only once its specific search sector has been completely searched. All other search sectors, as well as the Automatic Search Site, disappear from the map.

Resolution[]

There is no time limit to reach this scene.

The highest reputation reward possible for resolving this scene is +3.

The maximum possible penalty for ignoring this scene (whether before or after it has been located) is -3, depending on multipliers from the current difficulty setting.

Description[]

This scene contains a power junction, with a single tech element right next to it. This tech element requires a substantial amount of work to resolve: 1,600 work seconds. Even a large tech crew can take many seconds of work to fix it.
