Murdered Wife is a Generic Call Incident featured in 911 Operator. This call has a single storyline, in which a man calls in to report that he had just murdered his wife.
As a Generic Call, Murdered Wife may be triggered at any time during Free Play mode.
During Career play, it will only occur once.

Plot[]
This call has only a single plotline. The operator may actively direct the conversation towards several endings, with one being clearly superior to the others. It is outlined here.
Summary[]
A man calls 911 to report a murder. On being questioned by the operator, the caller readily admits that he had just murdered his own wife. He says that the murder occurred during an argument, and claims that he was acting in self-defense after she pulled a knife. However, it is quickly revealed that his self-defense was to shoot his wife in the head with a pistol.
The operator convinces the man to put the pistol away to make sure he doesn't hurt himself. Police are then sent to the house to arrest the man and handle his wife's body.

- On arrival at the scene, units will find the murderer and his wife's body.
- The wife's body must be processed by police.
- The murderer must be arrested by police and taken to jail. By default, he has a 70% chance of fighting the police, making this a dangerous situation because he has a pistol. However, correctly navigating through the phone call will reduce the Fight Risk to 0%, making this a completely safe arrest.

Choices to Avoid[]
Asking IS SHE BREATHING? will lock you out of being able to get the +1 Reputation for convincing the man to put away his gun. On the other hand, this will result in the man committing suicide, which means he does not need to be arrested. There is no Reputation penalty for allowing this to happen.
Whatever happens, do not say DON'T EXPLAIN YOURSELF, as this will drop the Reputation reward to -4, and the Ignore Reputation reward to -5, meaning you will lose a large chunk of Reputation no matter what you do.
