Mathematical Problem is a Scripted Call Incident featured in 911 Operator. This call has only one possible storyline, in which a young child named Oscar calls 911 for help with his arithmetic homework.
As a Scripted Call, Mathematical Problem can only be triggered in Career Mode, and only in Chicago.
This call allows you to win the Achievement "Order of Smile".

The script sets a default Reputation reward of +2, but there is no way to finish the conversation and send units to the address without it getting set to a negative value beforehand. As a result, you will always receive a penalty for sending units to the incident site (which would have to be discovered by tracing the call, as there is no way to acquire it through conversation).
In short, this call should be IGNORED. The Optimal Conversation below shows the fastest way to do so while acquiring the full +2 Ignore Reputation reward.
Plot[]
This call has only a single plotline and a single ending.
Summary[]
A young boy named Oscar, perhaps 4 years old, calls 911 and asks for help. It takes the operator a moment to realize that the boy needs help with his arithmetic homework. He has been taught to call 911 if he needs help, and since his mother was busy, he figured he should call.
The operator indulges the boy for a moment, but then asks to speak with his mother. The mother apologizes sincerely and promises to keep the boy away from the phone. The operator asks her to make sure that the boy will not be afraid to call 911 in the future - in case of a real emergency.

After Action Report[]
Trivia[]
This call script is based on a real 911 call (from before 2010) in which 4-year-old Johnny called for help with his arithmetic. Much of the script directly quotes the original call, verbatim.
