911/112 Operator Wiki

Mad Driver is a Reported Incident in 112 Operator. An uncommon incident, it requires only police response, with a very small chance of a fight. It has only one incident site, which requires a chase. This incident can only spawn from the very first Duty of any game.

The incident involves stopping a driver who has already committed multiple traffic violations, and is now attempting to evade police. The driver may be armed with a knife, and on very rare occasions may decide to fight. Whether armed or not, the driver typically needs to be arrested; but in 20% of cases they will be forced to pay a hefty fine, instead.

This incident can be auto-resolved by a Speed Camera to always receive the fine, at the cost of no Reputation reward.

Conditions to Spawn[]

The Mad Driver incident can spawn on any Duty in any type of game, including the very first Duty. It is, however, an uncommon incident.

This incident spawns in Slum districts twice as often as it does in any other kind of district. It is more common during the night than during the day.

Snowy weather reduces the chance of spawning substantially, making this a rare but possible incident. Rainy weather reduces the chance of spawning only slightly.

With The Last Duty DLC, this incident will never spawn once the Infected appear.

Resolution[]

The Mad Driver incident must be reached within 600 seconds of real time (on SLOW game speed) or it will automatically fail.

The highest reputation reward possible for resolving this incident is +2.

The maximum possible penalty for ignoring this incident is -2, depending on multipliers from the current difficulty setting.

This incident will be automatically resolved if it enters the effect radius of a Speed Camera. If so, you receive no Reputation reward, but instead receive €3,000 - €5,000 instantly. Since resolving this incident normally (using police units) will mostly end in an arrest instead of a fine, the Speed Camera is usually a much preferable solution.

Scene Elements[]

The Mad Driver incident contains one chase scene with a single police element. However, since a fight may occur (very rarely), medical units may need to be on stand-by to respond as well.

Chase[]

This scene begins to move as soon as it spawns. Its maximum speed is 120, making it difficult to stop with Pickup Trucks or anything slower. Patrol Cars or faster vehicles are recommended.

The driver has a Police Avoidance value of 0.8, meaning that he is highly likely to attempt to move in the opposite direction of any police units. This makes him difficult to trap, but easier to push towards a Speed Camera.

Description[]

The scene contains a car with one person inside, who has a high chance of being a criminal. 80% of cases require the suspect to be arrested and taken to prison. In this case, the suspect may (rarely) be armed with a knife, but is extremely unlikely to use it, and will likely surrender immediately.

In the ~20% of cases where the suspect does not require arrest, police will need to fine the suspect instead.
