911/112 Operator Wiki

Lost Dog is a Reported Incident that is added with the 112 Operator Facilities DLC. It can only occur during Rainy weather, when it is rare. It is a Search incident, ultimately requiring only police response. This incident can spawn at any stage of the game, including the very first Duty. It has one search site and one incident site.

The incident involves a report about a dog that's gone missing. Police must search the area for the missing dog, then capture the dog and take them to a kennel ("prison").

This is one of a handful of Reported Incidents in the game that can be summarily ignored without losing any points. Units should respond only if they literally have nothing better to do.

Conditions to Spawn[]

The Lost Dog incident requires the Facilities DLC to be installed and active. Even then, it can only spawn when the weather is Rainy, at which time it is a rare incident. It cannot spawn under any other circumstances.

This incident can spawn at any stage of the game, from the very first Duty onward.

This incident has the same chance to spawn in any type of district.

112 IncidentIcon P Search Search[]

The Lost Dog incident begins with a Search Area and Automatic Search Site appearing on the map.

The Search Area is a rectangle, 3 sectors wide on each side - for a total of 9 sectors. One of these sectors (selected at random) contains the hidden incident site you're searching for.

Each sector requires 25 seconds of Search Work to complete. This can be done by any unit. Once the specific sector containing the hidden incident site is completely searched, the hidden incident site appears and the search is over.

Resolution[]

The search must be concluded within 1,000 seconds of real time (on SLOW game speed) or it will automatically fail the entire incident. Note, however, that there is no penalty for failing this incident.

There is no reward nor penalty for completing the search.

Once the search is completed, it reveals the Lost Dog Scene (see below).

112 IncidentIcon P Arrest Lost Dog Scene[]

This scene appears only once its specific search sector has been completely searched. All other search sectors, as well as the Automatic Search Site, disappear from the map.

Resolution[]

From the moment the search is concluded and this scene appears on the map, you have only 200 seconds of real time (on SLOW game speed) to reach the scene, or it will automatically fail. Again, there is no penalty for failing this scene.

The reputation reward for resolving this scene is +1.

The penalty for ignoring this scene (whether before or after it has been located) is 0, making this one of the handful of incidents that can be ignored without wasting any time or effort.

Description[]

This scene contains the lost dog, who is just walking around in the open. Police officers must "arrest" the dog, and then take it to a "prison". The dog is not violent, and will not attack the officers.
