Household Chemicals Poisoning is a Reported Incident in 112 Operator. This rare incident requires only medical response, and has only one incident site. It can start occurring on the very first duty of any game.
The incident involves a baby who has imbibed some sort of household cleaning chemical. The baby is not only severely hurt, but is in danger of dying if medics don't get there fast enough. After substantial on-site treatment, the baby must be taken to a hospital.
Conditions to Spawn[]
The Household Chemicals Poisoning incident can spawn on any Duty in any game mode. It is a very rare incident during the day, and can't happen at all during the nighttime.
This incident has a lower chance of occurring in a Business district, relative to all other districts.
This incident must always spawn on a building. Note that some maps have buildings placed inside parks or wilderness areas.
Resolution[]
The Household Chemicals Poisoning incident must be reached within 1300 seconds of real time (on SLOW game speed) or it will automatically fail. This is plenty of time - more than half a Duty. However, note that the injured person will die within only 600 seconds if not treated, costing a large amount of Reputation.
The reputation reward for resolving this incident is +4. This is reduced to -1 if the victim dies - making it impossible to win any points from his incident.
The maximum penalty for ignoring this incident is -9, which happens if this incident is ignored after the victim has already died of their bleeding injury. Ignoring the incident before then costs only -4 points. All of this is further subject to multipliers from the current difficulty setting.
Scene Elements[]
This incident contains one scene with a single medical element.
Description[]
The scene takes place in a family home. The injured baby is there, together with its two parents (who are purely decorative elements).
The baby's health starts at only 30 Hit Points when the incident first spawns, and immediately begins losing -0.05 Hit Points every real-time second (on SLOW game speed). This gives you only 600 seconds to reach and treat the baby before it dies. A death will cost a massive number of Reputation points off your score even if you resolve the incident.
Once the baby is treated, they must be taken to a hospital.
The baby's parents are Resolved by default, and require no interaction whatsoever.
