Gunshot Wound is a Reported Incident in 112 Operator. An uncommon incident, it requires only medical response, and has only one incident site. It can spawn at any point in the game, including the very first duty.
The incident involves a man severely injured by gunshot. The attacker is not present and cannot be found. The victim must be treated and taken to a hospital, but isn't bleeding. Nevertheless, units must reach the incident quickly, or it will be automatically ignored.
Conditions to Spawn[]
The Gunshot Wound incident can spawn on any duty, including even the very first duty of a game. However, it is somewhat rare.
This incident is twice as likely to spawn in Slums as it is in Residential districts or Parks. It has a reduced chance of spawning in Business and Industrial districts. It is 50% more likely to spawn during the night.
This incident may spawn near a poorly-managed Concert, though the chance is low.
In The Last Duty scenario, this incident has a good chance to spawn during the Criminal phase.
Resolution[]
The Gunshot Wound incident must be reached within 450 seconds of real time (on SLOW game speed) or it will automatically fail. This gives just over 2 hours on the in-game clock to reach the incident and begin treatment, which doesn't give much room for delays.
The highest reputation reward possible for resolving this incident is +3.
The maximum possible penalty for ignoring this incident is -3, depending on the current difficulty setting.
Scene Elements[]
This incident contains one scene with only a single medical element.
Description[]
The scene takes place outdoors, and contains only the victim, who is heavily injured. After substantial medical treatment, the victim must be taken to a hospital. The victim is not bleeding, so there is no risk of them dying before or during treatment.
