911/112 Operator Wiki

Gang War is a Reported Incident in 112 Operator. This rare incident can only spawn once level-2 incidents have been unlocked (in Campaign mode, this occurs on Duty #4). It is one of the most dangerous level-2 incidents, and requires substantial police response and medical intervention. It has only one incident site.

The incident involves a group of 5 to 7 gang members from two different gangs, having a shootout with one another in the street. Many weapons are present, up to and including rifles. Police must arrive at the scene, at which point some the criminals are likely to start fighting them. All combatants must be subdued, after which all suspects present who have not been injured must be taken to prison.

In addition to any gang members who might be injured while fighting the police, there are between 1 and 4 gang members on the scene who have already been injured in the gang fight itself. They are in very bad shape, but are in no danger of dying, and do not require hospitalization.

Conditions to Spawn[]

The Gang War incident may only spawn once level-2 incidents have been unlocked. In a Campaign game, this occurs on Duty #4. The incident is normally rare, but becomes slightly less rare during the nighttime.

This incident has double the chance to spawn in Slums. It also has a high chance of spawning in Residential and Industrial districts. It has only half the chance to spawn in Business districts and Parks.

Resolution[]

The Gang War incident must be reached within 1200 seconds of real time (on SLOW game speed) or it will automatically fail. This is a very long time limit, equal to half a Duty, which should provide enough time to gather up a sizable police response.

The highest reputation reward possible for resolving this incident is +18, depending on how many randomized elements have been added to the scene.

The maximum possible penalty for ignoring this incident is -18, depending on both randomized scene elements and multipliers from the current difficulty setting.

112 IncidentIcon PM Armed Scene Elements[]

This incident contains one scene with a large number of both police and medical elements. Both types of units should be sent to the scene. Note that injuries during the fight (if it happens) can exacerbate the medical situation, so make sure to have backup units standing by.

Description[]

The scene occurs out in the open, with anywhere between 5 and 7 thugs present, and between 1 and 4 injured thugs lying on the ground. The thugs belong to two different gangs, and will usually start fighting one another as soon as the incident spawns. They will never actually hurt each other, no matter how long it takes police to arrive.

All thugs that are not injured (whether before police arrival or after the fight with the police) must be arrested and taken to prison, requiring a large number of free passenger spaces in the police vehicles responding to this call. However, they all have an above-average aggression value, and with so many criminals on the scene a fight with the police is practically inevitable.

The thugs are armed with a variety of weapons, up to and including shotguns and rifles, making it potentially very dangerous for police officers. Consider sending units with powerful weapons and armor, e.g. a SWAT team.

If the thugs aren't fighting one another or the police, medics can immediately move in to treat the injured thugs, who are not in danger of dying and do not require hospitalization. However, if any thug is injured during the fight with the police, they may be bleeding and will always require hospitalization, so make sure to send medical units with sufficient carrying space.

Trivia[]

In order to get the gang members to fight each other before police arrives, the script splits them into two "factions", which it calls "Brove" and "Gallas". If the first letters of each name are switched around, you get "Grove" and "Ballas" - the two rival street gangs operating in southern Los Santos in Grand Theft Auto V.
