Frostbites is a Reported Incident in 112 Operator. This incident may only spawn on Cold weather days, and especially on Snowy weather days; it cannot spawn otherwise. It requires only medical response, and has only one incident site. It can spawn at any stage in the game, including the very first duty.
The incident involves a person who is suffering from severe frostbite from exposure to the cold, and their life is in danger. Medics must rush to the site to provide treatment, then evacuate the person to hospital.
Conditions to Spawn[]
The Frostbites incident can spawn on any duty, including even the very first duty of a game.
This incident can never spawn under any conditions except Cold weather (when it is relatively uncommon) or Snowy weather (when it is relatively common).
This incident has an equal chance to spawn in any type of district.
Resolution[]
The Slip and Fall incident must be reached within 1000 seconds of real time (on SLOW game speed) or it will automatically fail. This is a very long time to respond, but there is a dying person on site who could expire in less than 750 seconds. Due to the heavy penalty this could entail, it is best to rush to the scene a little more quickly than that.
The reputation reward for resolving this incident is +3, but will be reduced to -2 if the patient dies first.
The penalty for ignoring this incident is -8, which happens if the injured person happens to die before the incident is ignored. Otherwise, the penalty is only -3. Both cases are subject to multipliers from the current difficulty setting.
Scene Elements[]
This incident contains one scene with only a single medical element.
Description[]
The scene takes place in the open, and contains only the frostbite victim, who is heavily injured and dying. Their initial health is at 50 when this scene first spawns on the map, and deteriorates at a random but constant rate between -0.03 and -0.07 hp/sec. In the worst case scenario, this gives you just over 714 seconds of real time (on SLOW game speed) to save their life. It is best not to risk it, since the penalty for patient death is quite severe.
After substantial medical treatment, the victim must be taken to a hospital.
