911/112 Operator Wiki

Flooded Road is an Incident in the 112 Operator Water Operations DLC that is part of the Heavy Rainfall event, and can only spawn as part of that event. For the duration of the event, Flooded Road incidents can spawn periodically, though the frequency of their spawning is yet unclear. This incident requires only firefighter response, and has only one incident site.

The incident involves water flooding a road in the city, rapidly creating a traffic jam in the entire area. Technical units must unclog the drains and pump the water out to restore the flow of traffic.

Conditions to Spawn[]

See also: Heavy Rainfall.

The Flooded Road incident requires the Water Operations DLC to be installed and active. The incident will not happen during normal play, until such time that the Heavy Rainfall event happens - if it happens at all.

During that event, the Flooded Road incident appears to have a chance to spawn roughly every 140 seconds (on SLOW game speed), or ~42 minutes on the in-game clock. It is currently unclear what the exact mechanism is, and how the game decides whether to spawn such an incident each time the check occurs. However, at least two instances of the Flooded Road incident will spawn before the rain stops.

This incident may only spawn on a road.

Resolution[]

The Flooded Road incident must be reached within 1,300 seconds of real time (on SLOW game speed) or it will automatically fail. This is just over half a duty, giving you plenty of time to resolve the incident. However, the huge traffic jam created by this incident will impede emergency units in the area until the incident is solved, potentially causing a much bigger headache.

The Reputation reward for resolving this incident is +3.

The penalty for ignoring this incident is -5, subject to multipliers from the current difficulty setting.

Scene Elements[]

This incident contains one scene with a single firefighter technical element.

Traffic Jam[]

As soon as this scene is created, it begins to generate a Traffic Jam that will expand at a rate of 2.0 along every connecting street. This is twice the maximum traffic spread rate for normal incidents, and means that a traffic jam will likely cover the entire area before your units can even arrive at the scene.

The Traffic Jam will slow down all ground-based units attempting to travel through it. Smaller vehicles move faster through Traffic Jams, and airborne vehicles ignore them completely.

As soon as the scene is resolved, the Traffic Jam will begin to clear, from the center outwards.

Description[]

The scene takes place on a road. The only element on the scene is an unnamed tech element, which takes 1,200 Work Second to resolve. This is a substantial amount of work, that could take a very long time for a small or under-equipped crew to resolve. It is best to send a well-equipped technical unit to speed this up and get rid of the traffic jam quickly.
