The First Aid Kit is a tool in 112 Operator that can be carried by any type of crewmember, boosting their Injured skill by +0.3 points. It can be placed in either the left or right tool slot (but not both), and costs €2,000 to purchase as part of any gear set.
Medics benefit the most from a First Aid Kit, as it will substantially speed up their work when treating injured persons by up to 20%, depending on their initial skill. This speed boost not only allows medics to resolve incidents quicker, but also reduces the chance of bleeding persons running out of time and dying before their injuries can be completely treated.
For medics, the First Aid Kit can be coupled with the Medic Vest and Stethoscope to give a total of +0.7 Injured skill. If the medic is also riding in an Ambulance or similar vehicle, they can get the bonus to +1.2 or more. This will make treatment go very quickly indeed. However, a medic's Injured skill is capped at 4.0, so if that cap is exceeded, it may be a good idea to replace one of the items with something better, if available and/or required.
Both Police Officers and Fire-fighters may be equipped with a First Aid Kit as well. For them the bonus is quite substantial, since their base Injured skill is initially very low (0.2 for rookie officers, 0.3 for rookie firefighters). While this item would not make them particularly quick at providing first aid, a few officers/firefighters with first aid kits can still do good work on a scene, whether to get the process started while waiting for medics to arrive, or assisting medics on the scene with multiple casualties.
