The Fire Truck is the standard land-based fire-fighting vehicle in 112 Operator. Though average in almost every respect, the Fire Truck gives a strong fire-fighting bonus to each of its four team members. Together with a sizeable water capacity, this makes the Fire Truck a good vehicle for handling fire-based incidents of any kind.
Description[]
"A basic fire truck. Equipped for firefighting."
Overview[]
The Fire Truck is usually unlocked at the start of a career, scenario, or freeplay, and should serve as your primary land-based fire-fighting vehicle on most maps.
The Fire Truck isn't speedy - having a top speed of only 100 - but it carries a large crew of 4 and a whole 10 units of water. A single truck can respond to any fire incident within its general vicinity and resolve it rather quickly, without having to go refill its water tanks until the fire has been put out. The vehicle provides a skill bonus of +0.5 Extinguish Fire skill to each of the four team members, further boosting the speed at which they put out fires.
Due to carrying a large crew, Fire Trucks can also give effective response to technical incidents, though will resolve them somewhat slower than a Technical Truck. Equipping all four crewmembers with technical-boosting gear, while expensive, makes the Fire Truck useful for both fire and tech incidents - a formidable jack-of-all-trades.
Note that Fire Trucks are not particularly fast vehicles, and should not be expected to cross the map within a reasonable time. Keep them spread out to minimize response times. It is rare to need more than one Fire Truck to respond to any single incident - with the obvious exception of Major Fires.
