911/112 Operator Wiki

"It was shocking. The explosion. Christ. It was one of the highest floors."

Fire Spotted is a Call Incident in 112 Operator. This call will not trigger on its own; it will only be triggered by the Revenge event - the main story-line of the Campaign mode. This call consists only of a phone conversation; it has no physical presence, and cannot be resolved. The call dialogue is completely predictable (no randomized responses from the caller).

The incident involves a concerned woman calling to report the same explosion and fire that had just occurred during the Fire In The Building incident. She cannot contribute any new information, nor provide any assistance. The call should be ignored, as there is nothing else 112 can do about it.

For the best solution to this call, see this guide.

Trigger Conditions[]

The Fire Spotted incident is a scripted incident; it cannot spawn unless specifically triggered by an Event.

This incident is only triggered by the Revenge event - the main story-line of the 112 Operator Campaign. On Duty #2 of a campaign, the event spawns up to two random Call Incidents, then Fire In The Building, followed by Fire Spotted, and finally another randomly-selected Call Incident.

Neither the Revenge event nor the Fire Spotted incident occur in any game mode other than Campaign.

Structure[]

The Fire Spotted incident is a Call Incident, which begins with a phone conversation with a citizen. The call is completely predictable: it contains no randomized responses from the caller, and the outcome depends entirely on choices made by the operator; the same choices will always lead to the same results.

This incident doesn't actually contain a scene to be resolved (though the script does; it'll never appear on the map). The caller will never provide an actual location (though she will name the address where Fire In The Building is already taking place), and the call cannot be traced.

As a result, all paths will eventually lead to a dead-end, where the call can only be ignored (and should be ignored) for no penalty or reward.

Call Summary[]

At the end of Fire In The Building, young Michael Miller ran into a building where a gas leak was taking place. That call ended with an abrupt explosion noise.

This incident begins with a neighbor calling 112 to report the explosion and ensuing fire in the apartment building. She says the top floors exploded. When informed by the operator that they already know about the emergency, the woman realizes that she's blocking a 112 line for no reason and ends the call voluntarily.

Resolution[]

Since no scene will spawn on the map for this incident, there is no time limit to reach any location.

Both the reward and penalty for this incident are set to 0, and will not change during the conversation. As such, it is best to ignore the incident summarily. There really is nothing else you can do.
