911/112 Operator Wiki

Fire on a Boat is a Reported Incident in 112 Operator that is only available with the Water Operations DLC. It can only occur on water, and reached only by water or airborne vehicles. This common incident requires both firefighter and medical response, and has only one incident site. This incident can only spawn once level-2 incidents have been unlocked (in a Campaign game, this happens on Duty #4).

The incident involves a boat that has caught fire. One passenger is on board, and is slightly burned, but requires only basic medical treatment on site. The boat itself must be put out quickly by firefighters, since the fire is spreading rapidly.

Conditions to Spawn[]

The Fire on a Boat incident requires the Water Operations DLC to be installed and active. This incident may only spawn once stage-2 incidents have been unlocked. In Campaign mode, this happens on Duty #4. This incident is common among water incident.

This incident may only spawn in a Water district. If the player does not control any water districts, the incident cannot spawn. This incident will always spawn some distance away from the shore, potentially even far into the ocean.

No weather, event, or nighttime modifiers change the frequency at which this incident occurs.

Resolution[]

The Fire on a Boat incident must be reached within 800 seconds of real time (on SLOW game speed) or it will automatically fail. However, since the fire begins to grow immediately, it is best to react quickly, otherwise it could be difficult to put out.

The reputation reward for resolving this incident is +3.

The penalty for ignoring this incident is -3, subjected to multipliers from the current difficulty setting.

Scene Elements[]

This incident contains one scene with one firefighter element and one medical element.

Description[]

The scene takes place in open water, at the titular burning boat. The driver of the boat is still aboard.

The fire initially requires only 100 Work Seconds to put out when this incident first spawns on the map; but it will immediately begin to grow at a rate of +2 Work Seconds per every second of real-time that passes (on SLOW game speed). A fire like this can get very big, very quickly, if firefighters don't arrive as soon as possible to start combating it. A small firefighter team may struggle to put it out at all, so it's best to send a larger crew.

Medics may begin to treat the boat's driver as soon as they arrive on the scene. The driver is barely hurt, requiring only the most basic care from medics, without transport to hospital.
