911/112 Operator Wiki

See also Fire Alarm (True) for an incident with the same name that actually features a fire.

Fire Alarm (false version) is one of two Reported Incidents in 112 Operator with the same name. This version is a false alarm, which requires only a trivial amount of tech work by firefighters to resolve. It is one of the most common incidents in the game, and can spawn at any stage of the game, including the very first Duty.

Conditions to Spawn[]

This version of the Fire Alarm incident can spawn at any stage of the game, from the very first Duty onward. This is true for all game modes. Under normal conditions, this incident is the most common firefighting incident in the game.

This incident is half as likely to occur in a Park district compared to all other district types.

This incident can only spawn on a building. Note that some maps feature buildings inside parks and other wilderness areas.

The incident is slightly more common at night than during the daytime, but it is already so common that the difference is negligible.

Resolution[]

This version of the Fire Alarm incident must be reached within 450 seconds of real time (on SLOW game speed) or it will automatically fail. This makes it quite urgent, but fortunately it can be resolved by pretty much any firefighting unit you can spare, including even a Quad. Simply send whoever is closest.

The reputation reward for resolving this incident is +1.

The penalty for ignoring this incident is -3, subject to multipliers from the current difficulty setting. This justifies sending a unit despite the low reward for resolving the incident.

Scene Elements[]

This version of the Fire Alarm incident contains one scene with only a single firefighter element.

Description[]

The scene takes place in the house where the fire alarm was triggered, however there is no fire - a false alarm. Firefighters must disable and reset the faulty alarm - a tech element that requires only 70 to 200 Work Seconds. This task is quick and painless, even for a small firefighter crew with no special tools. It's best to just send the nearest crew. Even police officers or medics might be able to resolve this incident quickly enough.
