The Defusal Kit is a police officer tool in 112 Operator, that can be placed in either the left or right tool slot (but not both). It costs €4,000 to purchase as part of a gear set for police officers.
The Defusal Kit increases the officer's Bomb Defusing skill by +3.0, which makes them defuse bomb elements at an incident site almost as quickly as a dedicated Robot. Note that an officer's normal Bomb Defusing skill (without bonuses) is around 0.15.
Since only one officer at a time can approach a bomb, it is generally wasteful to equip two members of the same team with Defusal Kits; one is enough, and will usually get the job done in mere seconds. If the team contains a Robot, there is no need to equip any of the officers with a Defusal Kit, since the Robot is always the best team-member for the job.
