The Defibrillator is a medical tool in 112 Operator that can only be placed in the Critical Injury slot of a medic's gear set. It costs €5,000 to purchase as part of that set. It only becomes unlocked partway into a career, scenario, or freeplay game.
The Defibrillator provides a +0.15 Critically Injured bonus to the medic. This allows them to reduce the bleeding rate of a patient they are treating by an additional 0.15 hp/s, on top of their normal ability.
However, it is very important to note that a rookie medic already has a Critically Injured skill of 0.25 without any bonuses. Given that there are no incidents in the game where a person bleeds faster than 0.25 hp/s, this skill level is already enough to stop all known bleeding injuries in the game on its own; and that skill only improves as the medic rises in ranks. Unless there is some unknown mechanism that can make bleeding worse than -0.25 hp/s, the Defibrillator really doesn't seem to help at all, and should not be purchased.
