For other incidents with the same or similar name, see Collapsed House (disambiguation).

Collapsed Roof is one of two Reported Incidents in 112 Operator that share the same name. This version of the incident may only spawn on Snowy weather days; it cannot spawn otherwise. It requires substantial firefighter and medical response, and has only one incident site. It can spawn at any stage in the game, including the very first duty.

The incident involves a roof that has collapsed under the weight of accumulating snow, injuring one or more people inside, and trapping them under piles of debris. Firefighters must clear away the roof - a substantial technical job - to allow medics access to the injured. All injured persons must be treated on site, and then evacuated to a hospital. None are in danger of dying while waiting for assistance.

Conditions to Spawn[]

This version of the Collapsed Roof incident can spawn on any duty, including even the very first duty of a game.

This incident can never spawn under any conditions except Snowy weather. Even then, it is relatively rare.

This incident is most likely to occur in Residential and Industrial districts. It has a reduced chance of occurring in Business districts and Park districts.

This incident will always spawn on a building. Note that some maps feature buildings inside parks or wilderness areas.

Resolution[]

This version of the Collapsed Roof incident must be reached within 1200 seconds of real time (on SLOW game speed) or it will automatically fail. This is a long response time - equal to half a duty. Despite the severity of the accident, there is no urgent on-site element, so you have plenty of time to mobilize a large force from further away.

The reputation reward for resolving this incident is +11.

The penalty for ignoring this incident is -11, depending on multipliers from the current difficulty setting.

Scene Elements[]

This incident contains one scene with combined firefighter and medical elements. They are all substantial, requiring a proportionally substantial number of units to resolve efficiently.

Description[]

The scene takes place at a collapsed building, with rubble strewn everywhere. There are between 1 and 4 injured persons on the scene, all of whom are trapped under a collapsed roof.

The roof element must be cleared first before access to any of the injured is enabled. The roof is a very serious tech element, requiring between 1,800 and 2,400 Work Seconds to resolve - which could take even an experienced, well-equipped firefighter crew some time. Since all other elements are blocked by the collapsed roof, it is important to provide a substantial firefighter response as quickly as possible.

Once the roof element is resolved, medics can proceed to treat the injured. All injured persons on the scene require a lot of medical work, but none are in danger of dying. Once treated, they must all be taken to hospital; more than a single medical vehicle can evacuate in a single go.

Ignore Penalty[]

The Reputation penalty for ignoring this scene is -11 by default, but each element that is resolved reduces this penalty. The roof itself reduces the penalty by 3 points, while each injured person reduces it by a further 2 points. Note that the number of injured persons is randomized, so there might not be enough injured persons on the scene to substantially reduce this penalty.
