- For other incidents with the same or similar name, see Collapsed House (disambiguation).
Collapsed House is a Reported Incident in 112 Operator. This incident may only spawn during the Earthquake event, and is one of the most common incident to spawn as a result of that event. It requires substantial firefighter and medical response, and has only one incident site. It can spawn at any stage in the game, including the very first duty.
The incident involves a house that has collapsed due to an earthquake, injuring three people inside, and trapping them under piles of rubble. Firefighters must clear away the rubble - a substantial technical job - to allow medics access to the injured. All injured persons must be treated on site, and do not require transport to hospital. None are in danger of dying while waiting for assistance.
Conditions to Spawn[]
The Collapsed House incident can spawn on any Duty, including even the very first duty of a game.
This incident can never spawn under any conditions except during the Earthquake event. This incident is one of the most common incidents that an Earthquake can spawn, so expect to deal with several Collapsed Houses during the Duty.
The incident has a reduced chance of spawning in Business districts, compared to all other types of districts.
Resolution[]
The Collapsed House incident must be reached within 600 seconds of real time (on SLOW game speed) or it will automatically fail.
The reputation reward for resolving this incident is +6.
The penalty for ignoring this incident is -6, depending on multipliers from the current difficulty setting.
Scene Elements[]
This incident contains one scene with combined firefighter and medical elements. The injuries are relatively minor, and can be handled by just a few medics if no more are available; but the firefighter element is substantial, and has to be completed first.
Description[]
The scene takes place at a collapsed building, with rubble strewn everywhere. There are 3 injured persons inside, all of whom are trapped under the rubble.
The rubble element must be cleared first before access to any of the injured is enabled. The rubble is a very serious tech element, requiring between 1,200 and 2,400 Work Seconds to resolve - which could take even an experienced, well-equipped firefighter crew some time. Since all other elements are blocked by the rubble, it is important to provide a substantial firefighter response as quickly as possible.
Once the rubble element is resolved, medics can proceed to treat the injured. Fortunately, none are in danger of dying, and do not require transportation to hospital, which means that a single Medical Response Motorcycle can take care of all three of them; however it is usually better to send a few teams (if available) in order to resolve this incident more quickly.
Ignore Penalty[]
The Reputation penalty for ignoring this scene is -6 by default, but each element that is resolved reduces this penalty. The rubble element reduces the penalty by 2 points, while each injured person reduces it by a further 1 point.
