Choking is a Reported Incident in 112 Operator. This uncommon incident requires only medical response, and has only one incident site. It can start occurring on the very first duty of any game.

The incident involves a person who is choking on their food and may die of asphyxiation. Medical units must rush to the scene, save the person's life, and then evacuate them to a hospital.

Conditions to Spawn[]

The Severed Limb incident can spawn on any Duty in any game mode. It is an uncommon incident.

This incident has equal chance to spawn in any type of district.

A poorly-managed Demonstration that is either still peaceful or in the process of turning violent has a small chance of generating this incident in its vicinity. That chance disappears once the Demonstration goes fully violent.

Resolution[]

The Choking incident must be reached within 1000 seconds of real time (on SLOW game speed) or it will automatically fail. However, you have about half as much time to reach the site before the patient dies, which would have a severely negative impact on your Reputation reward; it is best to hurry.

The reputation reward for resolving this incident is +3, assuming the patient hasn't died first. Otherwise, you will be penalized -2 Reputation for resolving the incident.

The maximum possible penalty for ignoring this incident is -6, which happens if the patient dies before the incident is ignored. Otherwise, the penalty for ignoring this incident is only -1. Both cases are subject on multipliers from the current difficulty setting.

Description[]

The scene takes place inside a building. The choking person is on the scene, still struggling to breathe.

The choking person's health starts at 60 hit points when the scene appears on the map, but degrades at a rate of exactly -0.1 per every real time second that passes (on SLOW game mode). In the worst case scenario, this gives you only 600 seconds to reach the patient and rescue them before they die, which costs a huge number of Reputation points. The patient requires medical treatment as well as transportation to hospital.
