Plot[]
This call has only a single plotline and a single ending.
Summary[]
A woman calls 911 in a panic, reporting that she had found a live baby inside her garbage container. She thought she heard a cat trapped inside, but when she went to check, it was a newborn baby. Unfortunately, the caller is too short to reach into the container.
The operator asks the woman to find something to stand on, and when that doesn't work, urges her to recruit help. The woman calls ehr neighbor, Mr. Wilson, and together they remove the baby from the container. The operator instructs the woman to check the baby's breathing, which leads to the woman opening the child's airways by wiping some mucus out of its mouth.
Following this, the operator sends a medical unit to the scene to treat the baby and take it to a hospital.

- On arrival, units will find the caller and the baby. The baby may or may not still be inside the garbage container.
- The caller is Resolved by default, and requires no interaction.
- If present, the container must be dealt with first. It requires 20 seconds of tech work, easily handled by a single firefighter if necessary.
- If the container is present, then the baby is inside the container, and must therefore wait until the container is removed. It is bleeding at a very slow rate, which should give you plenty of time to reach it. It requires treatment and transport to hospital.
- If the caller managed to remove the baby from the garbage container during the phone call, then the container is remove from the scene altogether, allowing immediate access to the baby. The baby's bleeding rate is also reduced to -0.01/s, which means it still needs transport to hospital but there is literally no risk to its life (you have 8000 seconds to rescue it).

Trivia[]
This call script is based on a real 911 call, which plays out very similarly - including several direct references (e.g. the woman initially believing it was a trapped cat, the garbage container being too tall, etc.). The script file contains a link to a YouTube video that plays an audio recording of the original call (see below).
The neighbor, "Mr. Wilson", may be a reference to American sitcom series Home Improvement, in which a neighbor with the same name was a prominent character living next door.
