The Big Police Boat is a police water vehicle that was added with the 112 Operator Water Operations DLC. Though more expensive and slower than a Patrol Boat, the Big Police Boat has an extra seat for an arrested passenger as well as twice-stronger armor, making it the primary vehicle to use for shootouts with criminals. It is therefore effectively the water equivalent of a Police Van.

Overview[]
The Big Police Boat, as its name suggests, is the largest police water vehicle added by the Water Operations DLC. It is the last to become available, about half-way into a career, scenario, or freeplay game, or whenever your first water district is unlocked - whichever comes later.
The Big Police Boat can be described as the water-based equivalent of the Police Van, in the sense that while it isn't quite as useful as the Patrol Boat for general-purpose duties, it provides strong, specialized bonuses for handling dangerous situations such as shootouts with smugglers, kidnappers and robbers. It can provide excellent support for Patrol Boats when such incidents appear, or potentially even handle them on its own.
The Big Police Boat carries 3 officers (the same as a Patrol Boat), but provides each of them with an Armor rating of 4 (twice as much as a Patrol Boat). In other words, police officers riding in the Big Police Boat have a 40% chance to suffer no damage when hit with any weapon, making this the safest water-borne vehicle to send to a shootout.
Additionally, a Big Police Boat can carry a total of 3 arrested persons back to jail, which is 50% more than a Patrol Boat. This allows clearing out almost any water incident with just a single boat; rarely will you need more.
There are, of course, drawbacks involved. Firstly, the Big Police Boat has a top speed of only 140 compared to a Patrol Boat's 160; still fast, but not quite as speedy for a water vehicle. Furthermore, the Big Police Boat costs a total of €80,000, making it one of the most expensive water vehicles.
