The Big Fire Boat is a fire-fighting water vehicle that was added with the 112 Operator Water Operations DLC. It is the largest of all water-borne fire-fighting vehicles, carrying up to 4 firefighters to the incident site at a decent pace, and then providing them with very substantial skill bonuses to ensure a speedy resolution. It is also the most expensive water-borne fire-fighting vehicle, but is still cost-effective compared to the next largest boat of this type (the Fire Boat).

Overview[]
The Big Fire Boat, as its name suggests, is the largest fire-fighting water vehicle added by the Water Operations DLC. It is the last to become available, about half-way into a career, scenario, or freeplay game, or whenever your first water district is unlocked - whichever comes later.
The Big Fire Boat's primary advantage is its crew. Not only does it carry 4 firefighters, but it also provides them with a massive +0.75 Fire Extinguish skill and +0.50 Technical Work skill. This allows the crew to resolve fire incidents even faster than a Fire Truck does on land, and technical incidents as quickly as a Technical Truck.
This comes at the expense of a lower maximum speed of 145, which is still adequate for water vehicles (about as fast as a Police Patrol Unit is on land), but not nearly as fast as a Fire Boat (175). Depending on your playing style, this may or may not be mitigated by the reduced time it takes a Big Fire Boat to resolve incidents once it gets to them.
Furthermore, the Big Fire Boat comes at a cost of €75,000. This is 25% more than a regular Fire Boat, but again, provides 33% more personnel and larger skill bonuses, making the extra cost more than justified.
