Bear Attack is a Reported Incident in 112 Operator. This is an extremely rare incident that can theoretically spawn at any time during any game. It requires a police response and medical intervention. It has only one incident site.
The incident involves a man who has been attacked by a bear. The bear is still in the vicinity, and must be "arrested" and taken to "prison" by officers. It will not put up a fight. The injured man must be treated and taken to hospital, and is not in danger of dying on the scene.
Conditions to Spawn[]
The Bear Attack incident may begin to spawn from the very first Duty of any game. However, its spawn priority is 0.01, making it 100 times rarer than the normal "rare" incident. In other words, it is possible to play many games of 112 Operator without ever encountering this incident!
When this incident does spawn, it may spawn in any type of district.
There are no modifiers from weather, time or events that change the frequency of this event occurring.
Resolution[]
The Bear Attack incident must be reached within 1200 seconds of real time (on SLOW game speed) or it will automatically fail. This is equal to half the length of a duty, making this incident decidedly not urgent.
The reputation reward for resolving this incident is +2.
The penalty for ignoring this incident is -2, subject to multipliers from the current difficulty setting.
Scene Elements[]
This incident contains one scene with both police and medical elements.
Description[]
The scene occurs out in the open, with both the bear and its victim still there.
The bear must be "arrested" by police officers and taken to "prison", just like a normal suspect. The bear is surprisingly docile - it will never attack the police.
The injured victim is quite badly injured, requiring substantial treatment followed by transport to a hospital. Medics can treat the victim even while the bear is still present. The man is not in danger of dying on the scene.
