Acute Poisoning is a Reported Incident in 112 Operator. Normally an uncommon incident, it requires only medical response, and has only one incident site. It can spawn at any point in the game, including the very first duty.
The incident involves a person who is exhibiting severe symptoms of diarrhea and vomiting, though the cause is unknown. Medics must provide treatment on site, and in 50% of cases must also take the patient to a hospital.
Conditions to Spawn[]
The Acute Poisoning incident can spawn on any duty, including even the very first duty of a game. It is an uncommon incident, particularly in later stages of the game.
This incident has an equal chance of spawning in any type of district. It must spawn on a building; but many maps feature buildings inside parks or even out in the wilderness.
A poorly-supervised Concert event may spawn this incident in its vicinity, though it is not particularly common relative to any other incident that could spawn instead.
With the Pandemic Outbreak DLC, this incident becomes quite common during the first Duty of the COVID outbreak. It is one of the less-common incidents spawned by the event.
With The Last Duty DLC, this incident becomes very common during the Criminal phase.
Resolution[]
The Acute Poisoning incident must be reached within 600 seconds of real time (on SLOW game speed) or it will automatically fail.
The reputation reward for resolving this incident is +2.
The penalty for ignoring this incident is -2, and is subject to multipliers from the game's difficulty setting.
Scene Elements[]
This incident contains one scene with only a single medical element.
Description[]
The scene takes place in the open, and contains only the victim, who is seriously ill. Following substantial medical treatment on site, there is a 50% chance that the victim must be taken to a hospital; otherwise the scene is instantly resolved.
Due to the high chance of hospitalization, it is best to send a vehicle with free passenger seats; a Medical Response Motorcycle is not the best response team.
