911/112 Operator Wiki

Abandoned Car is a Reported Incident in 112 Operator. A somewhat common incident, it can only be resolved by firefighters, and has only one incident site. This incident can spawn at any stage of the game, including the very first Duty.

The incident involves a car that has been abandoned in the street, blocking traffic and creating a large traffic jam. The car must be removed from the road by firefighters.

Conditions to Spawn[]

The Abandoned Car incident can spawn at any stage of the game, from the very first Duty onward. This is true for all game modes. This incident is somewhat common, especially in the early game.

This incident has an increased chance to occur in Business districts, and a reduced chance to occur in Residential, Industrial, and Park districts. It is nearly half as common during the night as it is during the day.

This incident can only spawn on a road.

During the first half of a Blackout Duty, this incident becomes much more common. During the second half, it is among the most common incidents to spawn.

This incident can also spawn in the vicinity of a poorly-managed Concert, though it is not particularly common among all other possible incidents.

With The Last Duty DLC, this incident will never spawn once the Infected have appeared.

Resolution[]

The Abandoned Car incident must be reached within 600 seconds of real time (on SLOW game speed) or it will automatically fail.

The reputation reward for resolving this incident is +2.

The penalty for ignoring this incident is -2, depending on multipliers from the current difficulty setting.

Scene Elements[]

The Abandoned Car incident contains one scene with only a single firefighter element.

Traffic Jam[]

As soon as this scene is created, it begins to generate a Traffic Jam that will expand at a rate of 0.9 along every connecting street - nearly the fastest possible traffic spread.

The Traffic Jam will slow down all ground-based units attempting to travel through it. Smaller vehicles move faster through Traffic Jams, and airborne vehicles ignore them completely.

As soon as the scene is resolved, the Traffic Jam will begin to clear, from the center outwards.

Description[]

The scene contains the abandoned car, sitting in the middle of the road. The car is a tech element with a special property: Unlike most other tech elements in the game, it can only be resolved by firefighters. Police officers and medics, even if equipped with tech-related gear, will refuse to interact with this element.

The car takes 400 Work Seconds to resolve. This should be fairly simple for an experienced tech crew.
